Molasses Crinkles
¾ cup of unsalted butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
½ cup molasses
1 egg
2 ¼ cup sifted flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
½ teaspoon cloves
½ teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix first four ingredients together.
Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and salt until well
blended using paddle attachment. Cover
bowl with plastic wrap and chill dough for 2 hours. Roll dough into balls and dip tops into white
sugar. Bake at 350 degrees on a
parchment lined baking sheet for 8 minutes.
